The Quit Diary
Join me on my raw and honest journey as I quit smoking after 26 years. In ‘The Quit Diary’, I share my struggles, setbacks, and ultimate triumph over nicotine addiction. From the initial cravings to emotional breakthroughs, my story showcases determination and courage. By reprogramming my mindset, I overcame trauma and anxiety, which ultimately enabled me to quit smoking. With practical tips, surprising remedies, and a healthy dose of humour, I hope to inspire and motivate you to take control of your own journey towards nicotine freedom.

I know, I know… Everyone thinks when they smoke it’s not an addiction. I held that belief for 26 years! It wasn’t until I decided to stop that I realized it truly is an addiction, affecting your entire system. You won’t realize how addicted you actually are until you decide to stop smoking. That’s why, from day one, I made it my mission to take detailed notes of what I went through. I’m glad I did, so I could share it with you.
You will find “The Quit Diary” to be quite entertaining, with a bit of humour, drama, light swearing, and even some disgustingness. I won’t give you a huge sales pitch to sell this very informative short book. But just know that everything written is true. At 56 pages, this book is quite short, but each page has a highly imaginative picture to help tell the story.

Whether you’re a smoker looking to quit or someone supporting a loved one through their journey, “The Quit Diary” offers an honest and relatable perspective. I hope my experiences can provide you with the motivation and tools you need to achieve nicotine freedom. Remember, every small step counts, and you are not alone in this journey.

I found the book to be a quick and easy read. Despite not being a smoker, I found myself empathizing with the raw and honest account of withdrawal and the physical and mental struggles that came along with it. This may truly resonate with those thinking of or are already on the journey of quitting.

I have to say that I found your detailed journey quite interesting from my viewpoint as a non-smoker. I am sure your book will assist many people in the quitting process of any addiction, whatever it might be. Your information, especially regarding the crutch throughout the cravings stage that will most definitely occur, being almonds or cranberries or whatever, will have a person prepared and have something nearby to fill the hole caused by the absence of the cigarette.
